Taptic was born out of a critical need for enhanced accessibility for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Inspired by a tragic incident where a Deaf friend missed a fire alarm and passed away in a fire accident, Taptic aims to ensure that no one ever misses a crucial alert again.
Our journey began at the Sparklabs Incubator Center at IU Ventures, where we rapidly developed and launched the app.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to enhancing our app's capabilities, forming strategic partnerships, and introducing new features to further support the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
